basic salary 指的是：
底薪、基本薪資（不含加班費、獎金、津貼等）
例如：

因此，如果新聞說政府調高法定基本薪資，應該說：

而不是：

base salary 也是底薪
在外商公司或求職網站，你也很常看到：
base salary
它和 basic salary 十分接近，都表示「底薪」。
