記憶體英文

這裡指的記憶體是電腦或 3C 用的記憶體，常見的隨機存取記憶體，也稱為主記憶體，英文為 Random Access Memory，縮寫成 RAM，可分為靜態隨機存取記憶體（SRAM）和動態隨機存取記憶體（DRAM）兩大類，SRAM 只要保持通電，儲存的資料就不會消失，而 DRAM 則需周期性通電以避免資料遺失，除了 RAM 之外，還有兩種記憶體是不需要保持通電就能保存記意的，分別是唯讀記憶體（Read-Only Memory，縮寫：ROM）及快閃記憶體（flash memory），這兩者的優點是不用持續通電就能長時間保存資料，差別在於 ROM 只能寫入資料，無法刪除或修改資料，而 flash memory 可以寫入、刪除及修改資料，常見的隨身碟、記憶卡裡面的記憶體就屬於 flash memory。
